A Hunter Pace is a cross-country ride with a partner over a marked and timed course of up to 9.5 miles that includes 2-3' jumps that riders may go over OR around.  Hunter Pace per rider fee: $55 early registration (prior 9/2), $65 regular registration.

  • Hunter: Experienced in the hunt field and want to take the course at a faster pace, traditionally a fox hunt pace.
  • Hilltopper: A more leisurely pace than Hunter, about 25% slower for the novice horse and/or rider.
  • Best Conditioned Horse: Vet check will be immediately following the finish.

2017 Mounted Games Ride

  • A scenic 1 1/2 hour ride on a marked course through the beautiful waterfront property of Lord Creek Farm.
  • Teams have the ability to earn points by successfully completing Mounted Game activities a each of the six check-points. Riders do not need to have previous Mounted Games experience. A description of each activity will be given to all riders upon registration. Rules for the activity will be posted at each check point.
  • The Mounted Games are designed to be run as two-person teams. Three-person teams are welcome to ride the course together but only two scores from each team at each activity will count toward the team's overall score.

June 2016 Scrabble Ride

A Scrabble ride is a fun filled ride thru Lord Creek.  Riding teams are awarded letters and can win additional points thru participating in various "challenges" (activities) during the ride.  At the end of the ride teams will play off against other riding teams in a game of Scrabble (using their letters and points).  Great prizes will be awarded to the Scrabble winners.
